HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?
Pleasure Psychology Intimacy Coach Training and Certification is an intensive 3-step-system that is 100% online that gets you ready to join the world of sex and relationship coaching. This course focuses on you first. We believe that transforming your life around pleasure and creativity is the best way to transform others' lives.
This 3 step method is created by Moushumi Ghose, MFT, sex therapist for over 20 years.
💫 Step I: This program will help you work through your own blocks while also building your sex positive knowledge and repertoire.
💫Step 2: Start working with clients via coursework, master classes, practice sessions, team classroom support with coach facilitators, (Wayne and Kelly)

Mou's Live Trainings are chock-full with tips on creating your own programs, getting clients, defining your voice and more.
This program is stacked with videos, worksheets, plus quizzes, coursework, and all the legal documentation you need to get started working with clients, plus the twice monthly group coaching calls, a Facebook group to exchange ideas with your classmates, bonus classes of your choice on writing books, succeeding on social media, developing your niche, and much more. You will be exposed to the gamut of topics that comes up in intimacy coaching, writing your books, getting in the media, and more.

CAN I REALLY GET CERTIFIED IN 10 WEEKS?
The course is 100% online and is designed to be self-paced. It's broken down into modules, plus all the bonus courses.
We have had several students who did finish the coursework in 10 weeks, if you commit to doing that way. Realistically, doing this full time, most of our students take 3-4 months. If you do this part-time, you can finish in 8-10 months. Of course, you may take longer if that suits you better. We encourage you to go at your own pace. You will know when you are ready to take the next step whether it be seeing clients, growing your business.

Even though the cooursework may be completed faster, depending on your experience and needs, we encourage you to attend our coaching calls and live trainings for one full year to really prepare yourself to work and build a lucrative business as a Sexology Coach.

We have an optional add-on annual in person retreat for students enrolled in the program, which provides an immersive educational experience.

We believe this course is a major step in your sex positive journey! A life long journey of learning, unlearning, relearning, doing, undoing, redoing and so much more! We know you may also choose to study elsewhere and encourage it, there are many schools and many paths on this journey! Choose your own adventure--find what works best for you and trust your intuition. You may choose to begin working as a sex expert or intimacy coach at any time during your process. This deep-dive program will certainly prepare you for that.
We hope that your learning and growth will continue for many, many moons beyond this course, and into the future!

CAN I WORK AS AN INTIMACY COACH AT LOS ANGELES SEX THERAPY?
We have a Pleasure Psychology Alumni Program that will help you promote and grow your business.
When you complete the program, you don’t disappear—and you’re not expected to stay in an ongoing coaching loop either (unless you want to).
Instead, we maintain a public-facing Alumni & Community page that reflects where the work goes after the program.
This page exists to:

honor the people who’ve moved through the work

make alumni visible in their own paths and practices

show the range of ways this work gets integrated into real lives
Some alumni choose to be listed with a short reflection and links to their work. Others don’t. Participation is always optional.
It’s not a ranking, endorsement, or referral system. It’s a living archive of people who completed the program and are now doing their own thing—therapy, coaching, writing, art, teaching, relationship work, or something else entirely.
Once you complete the program, you will have the opportunity to submit a video testimonial. This will be required to receive your signed diploma and to appear on the Alumni & Community page.

DO I HAVE TO PARTNER WITH LAST OR CAN I GO OFF ON MY OWN?
It's true, some graduates of the program have come to work at Los Angeles Sex Therapy (LAST) which is Mou's group collective.
Once you have completed the program you may apply to LAST. If we have are currently hiring, you may be considered.
The training in the course empowers you to build your own coaching business and practice, so you will have the tools, guidance and support to do it all on your own.

CAN I GET CEUS?
We offer certificates of completion for all our courses and many of our courses also offer CEU’s for professionals!
This program offers 36 CEU's.
Will my board accept these as CEUs?
Many mental health and social service professional regulatory boards will accept out-of-state (California) and/or online continuing education hours. We strongly encourage you to check with your state regulatory board before purchasing, inluding the number of hours that you may earn via online learning as this will vary from state-to-state and license type. CEUs are not accredited by national boards.
